Help Us Spread Awareness in Our Schools This March πŸ’›πŸ’™

World Down Syndrome Day - March 21 - Image with Ribbon in blue and gold and the planet Earth.

World Down Syndrome Day is quickly approaching on March 21st, and we are excited to help our local schools celebrate in meaningful and inclusive ways!

We have put together resources that schools can use to recognize the day, spread awareness, and promote acceptance. Since March 21 falls on a Saturday this year, many schools may choose to celebrate on Friday, March 20 β€” and we would love to see strong participation across our county!

We are asking our families to please share this resource with your child’s teachers/special education directors. We will email many school districts, but personal connections often go further. Schools are often eager to participate but may not know where to start β€” and this resource makes it easy!

Together, we can help ensure students with Down syndrome are celebrated, included, and recognized in every corner of Delaware County.
