A father in Glen Mills is opening a new café that’s more than just a coffee shop — it’s a place where people with disabilities can work, grow and thrive. Jim Vail, motivated by his son Ryan’s potential, sold his construction company to focus on Ryan’s Rise Up Café, a business designed to employ individuals of all abilities. The café plans to hire up to 20 people initially — with hopes to grow to 45 — providing training, support and even a sensory room to make work accessible for everyone.
This initiative is rooted in challenging stereotypes and building a welcoming environment where everyone can contribute with purpose.
