The Board of the DSIG is excited to welcome our new families to the group with a private event for ALL families with children 12 years of age and younger. This is a great opportunity to hang out with other members in our group and to continue/form necessary friendship and support!
Join us for a night of fun for a private event at Betteโs Family Fun Center onย May 19th from 5:30-7:30pm. Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be provided!
Remember, your annual dues ($10) must be paid in order to attend the event. You can mail your dues to our PO Box (P.O. Box 5066, Springfield, PA 19064) before 5/12, or pay your dues at the event (please bring cash).

Down To Box Is Coming To DELCO!!
Down to Box is launching in Ridley Park. May 20 we will be conducting a coaches training and the program will launch for regular weekly classes shortly after!
Down to Box is conducting a coachesโ training Saturday May 20 at Jabz Boxing (3488 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014). Children with Down syndrome and their siblings between the ages of 6-13 are welcome from 1-1:30pm and adults ages 14 and older with Down syndrome or other intellectual and developmental disabilities from 2-2:30pm.

Participants will be doing footwork drills, light boxing techniques on a bag and with mitts, cardio and strength exercises- all for beginners.

This program is a collaboration of health professionals and support staff from the DSA of DE and Perinatal Prana. This will serve as a pilot program as we monitor impact.ย Families of a child with Down syndrome ofย any ageย are encouraged to attend our virtual monthly support calls on the following topics:

Share your journey with others to form an understanding of various topic areas. These calls will be led by Perinatal Prana professionals and attended by DSA of DE Outreach Staff. No pressure to share, listening only is accepted.
Due to licensing of our medical professionals, individuals must live in the state of Delaware or be in the state of Delaware during the time of services. If you live outside the state but are willing to travel, we encourage you to participate.
