Perks: Depending on the number of tickets sold by all of the Down syndrome groups, there may be a t-shirt available on a first come basis. One person with Down syndrome, who is over the age of 7, could be selected to participate in the first pitch ceremony, so please provide Jack Malone with your contact phone number where you can be reached if your child is selected.

Seats: Section 206 and 207 (Handicap Accessible Seating is available).
Promotion: Phillies celebrate Mother’s Day. Every young lady 15 years and older will receive a Ladies Fleece Pullover
There will be 2 ticket options this year as The T21 club is hosting a pre-game tent party from 12:00-1:30pm.
Option 1: Purchase a game ticket only for $38.00. (Children 3-under are free but do not have their own seat. Lap time!)
Option 2: Â Ages 11-up ticket for Pre-game Tent party and seat in Sec 206-207 are $78.00
                  Ages 6-10 ticket for Pre-game Tent party and seat in Sec 206-207 are $58.00
                  Ages 3-5 ticket for Pre-game Tent party and seat in Sec 206-207 are $38.00 (must enter with parent who purchased a $78.00 ticket)
                  Ages 3-under no charge but must enter with a parent who purchased a $78.00 ticket
The Pre-game Tent Party will include a ballpark food buffet, soft drinks and water, a PHILLIES CAP, and a few special guests to visit with. There will be bartender service for a cash bar.
Tee-shirts (if sponsorship is obtained) may be given out at the Pre-game tent party only. Again that is not for certain.
I must have orders and payment prior to April 1st (no fooling!) Ticket order has to be placed by April 5th.

Proceeds of the race will benefit The Delaware County Down Syndrome Interest Group (DSIG). DSIG is a 501(c) non-profit organization that was formed in 1990 by a group of families touched by Down Syndrome in Delaware County. They strive to promote professional and public awareness and encourage inclusion for those with Down Syndrome. Their goals are to reach out to expectant and new parents of a child with Down Syndrome, to be supportive of and provide social interaction for people with Down Syndrome, their families, friends and acquaintances, to aid and challenge each family to constantly evaluate and re-think how new ideas, information and technology may help or affect their child with Down Syndrome and to educate the general public by assisting members of our community in learning to see people with disabilities as people, not as their disability. Please join your fellow Down Syndrome Families from across the region at Down Syndrome Awareness Day with the Phillies!!!!
Please use our specific code “DSAN” for this year’s Down Syndrome Awareness Day with the Philadelphia Phillies (The National League Champions). The game will be against the Colorado Rockies at 12:05pm,on April 23rd. It’s also the Phanatic’s birthday, so children under 14 get a free Phanatic t-shirt!
AND EVERYONE OF ALL AGES is welcome and encouraged to attend as we rally together for our Down Syndrome Community in the Delaware Valley!
If you have never attended, we cannot wait to meet you in person! Please know, this is an event you do not want to miss! Besides the fact that it will most likely be a high scoring game, it is an opportunity to meet your social media friends from the Delaware Valley in person at one general location, providing you get tickets with our code.

Tickets are subject to availability, there have been years we sold out, this is our 14th year!
Overall we average about 650 tickets each season; for those who support our DS community, please don’t delay placing your order!
Additionally, the more tickets we sell the more likely we are able to receive additional perks and funds which enable us to do other community outings throughout the year.

Join us for our Bingo Brainstorming Call on Wednesday, May 10th at 7:00 pm. We will be brainstorming ideas for the next DSIG Bingo event (10/21/23), forming a bingo planning committee, and sharing feedback from past bingo events. We Are So Lucky!!
Down to Box is launching in Ridley Park. May 20 we will be conducting a coaches training and the program will launch for regular weekly classes shortly after!
Down to Box is conducting a coaches’ training Saturday May 20 at Jabz Boxing (3488 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014). Children with Down syndrome and their siblings between the ages of 6-13 are welcome from 1-1:30pm and adults ages 14 and older with Down syndrome or other intellectual and developmental disabilities from 2-2:30pm.
Please email [email protected] to sign up. There is no cost to attend- this is a mini demo class that is part of our coaches’ training that day.
Participants will be doing footwork drills, light boxing techniques on a bag and with mitts, cardio and strength exercises- all for beginners.
Delco DSIG is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Unless specifically requested by the donor, donations are not considered restricted and all donations are confirmed with a receipt for tax reporting purpose.
