Hello Friends of DSIG! We would like to expand our sponsor base for our 2013 Walk-a-Thon, so if you work for a company, union, or use other vendors who might be interested in being a sponsor, please e-mail me their name and address, and I will send them a sponsor letter. Sponsors who donate $500 or more, will have their name and logo on the back of our event t-shirt. Those who donate less than $500 will be recognized on the walk brochure for the following year and on our sponsor board the day of the walk. The deadline for t-shirt sponsors is 2/28/13.
* Sponsorship Forms: 2013 Sponsorship Form
We are in need of raffle items, silent auction items, and items for gift baskets. Patty White will be the point of contact for these items, so please contact me at [email protected] or 610-544-2711.
* Raffle Flyer: 2013 Raffle Flyer
Walk brochures were mailed out in early February, so if you did not receive yours, please let us know. With $20 in pledges, you are guaranteed an event t-shirt. We encourage you to pre-register for the walk to eliminate long lines at the check in table. Ask your friends and family to join us that day and collect pledges.
If you are interested in helping out the day of the walk, please use the form below. It takes a lot of woman and man power to make this yearly event a success. Volunteer time slots are in 30 minute intervals, so there is still plenty of time to enjoy the walk with your family.
The Trisomy 21 Program at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, in cooperation with Hinkle, Fingles & Prior, attorneys at law, is hosting a two-part educational series on March 22 and April 26, 2014. The events will provide important information to families of children and adults with Down syndrome. The first session will focus on concerns that may arise during your child’s school-age years. The second session will educate you about resources and services available for you and your adult child after age 21.
We encourage you to attend both sessions. Space is limited, so please register early.
Please note: Childcare will not be provided.
