2013 Walk for Our Kids

2013 DCDSIG Annual Walk for Our KidsHello Friends of DSIG! We would like to expand our sponsor base for our 2013 Walk-a-Thon, so if you work for a company, union, or use other vendors who might be interested in being a sponsor, please e-mail me their name and address, and I will send them a sponsor letter. Sponsors who donate $500 or more, will have their name and logo on the back of our event t-shirt. Those who donate less than $500 will be recognized on the walk brochure for the following year and on our sponsor board the day of the walk. The deadline for t-shirt sponsors is 2/28/13.

* Sponsorship Forms: 2013 Sponsorship Form

We are in need of raffle items, silent auction items, and items for gift baskets. Patty White will be the point of contact for these items, so please contact me at [email protected] or 610-544-2711.

* Raffle Flyer: 2013 Raffle Flyer

Walk brochures were mailed out in early February, so if you did not receive yours, please let us know. With $20 in pledges, you are guaranteed an event t-shirt. We encourage you to pre-register for the walk to eliminate long lines at the check in table. Ask your friends and family to join us that day and collect pledges.

If you are interested in helping out the day of the walk, please use the form below. It takes a lot of woman and man power to make this yearly event a success. Volunteer time slots are in 30 minute intervals, so there is still plenty of time to enjoy the walk with your family.

DSIG 25th Annual “Walk for Our Kids”

WOW!  It’s hard to believe that we will be celebrating our 25th year of our annual walk-a-thon!  The date has been set for the 25th Annual DSIG “Walk for Our Kids”!  This event is our major fundraising event for the year and allows us to continue to provide outreach and social activities for our families.  It’s a FUN morning and a great time to meet other families.  We will need people in the group to make contact with any businesses that they know to see if they are willing to become one of our $500 sponsors for the event.  As a $500 sponsor, their company logo will be featured on the back of the event t-shirt.  We will also need items for baskets from businesses, baskets donated by businesses and DSIG families & friends, and raffle and silent auction items.  The letter for donations is ready now, so if you have a business contact and need a letter, please send me an e-mail at [email protected] and I will get one out to them.  Hoping to have the walk brochures out by the end of this week, so look for that in your mail!  This event takes a lot of planning and volunteers will be needed, so I’ll let you all know in the near future where help is needed.  Any questions about this event, just give me a shout!
