Maggie McHugh from Notre Dame asked me to share their bike camp information with the members of DSIG. This year they will be hosting this camp for their 9th year! I can tell you from personal experience that this was one of the best decisions that I have made in my life when I decided to sign Lauren up for this camp! We did not find this camp until Lauren was 21 years old, but I always knew that she could ride, we just needed to find the right way to teach her. Thanks to this camp, Lauren is an awesome and safe bike rider and we very much enjoy our very long bike rides in Ocean City, NJ!
When: June 25-29, 2018
Where: Academy of Notre Dame
560 Sproul Road
Villanova, PA 19085
DSIG will reimburse families who are current, paid members of DSIG, for the cost of one camp, at the completion of the camp. You will need to pay for the camp up front, and then once your child has completed the camp, you can submit a receipt for reimbursement to DSIG for the cost of the camp.

Please join us at the Annual DSIG Holiday Party for an evening of dining, dancing, and connecting with old friends and meeting some new friends. Of course, no holiday party would be complete without a visit from the big guy in the red suit!
Please RSVP responsibly to Megan Califano at [email protected] by Friday, November 23, 2018 (the day after Thanksgiving). We are unable to accept late RSVP’s after that date as we need to give the venue our count. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
We are also once again asking that each family bring $10 worth of non-perishable food items that evening, which will be donated to the St. Katharine Drexel Food Pantry in Chester, PA. This is our way of giving back to the community and helping those in need. If you do not have time to shop, monetary donations will be accepted as well. For more information on this food cupboard and their grocery list, please visit, www.orgsites.com/pa/skd/. We look forward to once again making the holidays a little brighter for our neighbors in need.
We will also be collecting the $10.00 DSIG Membership Dues at the holiday party for the 2019 membership year. If you pay at the party, you can have one item checked off on your “To Do List” for 2019. Checks should be made payable to DSIG and of course, cash is always welcome.
