This program is a collaboration of health professionals and support staff from the DSA of DE and Perinatal Prana. This will serve as a pilot program as we monitor impact. Families of a child with Down syndrome of any age are encouraged to attend our virtual monthly support calls on the following topics:
Share your journey with others to form an understanding of various topic areas. These calls will be led by Perinatal Prana professionals and attended by DSA of DE Outreach Staff. No pressure to share, listening only is accepted.
Due to licensing of our medical professionals, individuals must live in the state of Delaware or be in the state of Delaware during the time of services. If you live outside the state but are willing to travel, we encourage you to participate.
Please contact Susan Blessington, Outreach Coordinator, at [email protected] or Ari Avila, Spanish Outreach Coordinator, at [email protected] for more details.

“There will be a parent get together November 17th at the GET Café at 7pm! Generally, we bring snacks/drinks to share–whatever you like.
Please let us know if you plan to come. It’s been a while, so it will be great to see as many folks as possible and catch up, and also to meet some new members. Please tell friends who may not be on Facebook.
It has been so nice to meet up with parents on this particular journey in the past; a great way to resource share and chat about issues that can be particular to our kiddos with a dual Down syndrome/ASD diagnosis (and a good excuse to have a glass of wine and vent)! 😉
GET Café is located at 246 Haverford Avenue, Narberth, PA 19072.

The PEAL Center is offering this incredible in-person event to rally a new generation of parents, self-advocates and their allies to push for more inclusive schools. Even though PA was the first state to ensure students with intellectual disabilities could attend public schools, today we rank 44th out of 50 states when it comes to including students with ID in regular ed. classes. We can do better. But we need a new generation of parents to stand up and lead the way. The event is FREE. Space is limited so register today!
Date: November 30
Time: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
