Please help us in congratulating the 2024 Sheetz Family Award of Excellence winner, John Thomas from Delaware County (Special Olympics Pennsylvania – Delaware County)!
John is a constant example of positivity. He works hard at his sports so that his teammates can experience more games and have fun. He also plays every game for a dear friend who is currently fighting brain cancer. John makes sure she is represented by bracelets or slogans on his clothes.
He is resilient when it comes to his attitude. He helps other athletes who need a little extra support and motivates his teammates to play hard and go for gold. John’s stature is small, but he plays with gusto, always hustling on defense and always encouraging his teammates! His enjoyment is shown by his smile, win or lose!
