“I’m nervous about coming by myself.”
We hear this every single year.
If you’ve been thinking about coming to the Rockin’ Mom Retreat but keep wondering, “What if everyone already knows each other?” or “What if I don’t fit in?” You’re not alone. 💛
We think about those questions all the time while we plan the retreat. That’s why we intentionally create opportunities for connection from the moment you arrive. Even when we’re choosing a resort, we’re looking beyond meeting rooms and hotel amenities. We’re imagining all the places where meaningful connections can happen: around breakfast tables, by the pool, during a guided conversation, over coffee, or while walking back to your room after a full day together.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll have opportunities to:
💙 Meet moms from your state or region
💙 Connect with other first-time attendees
💙 Find moms whose children are a similar birth year
💙 Join cultural meetups to connect with families who share your background and experiences
💙 Connect through topical meetups like Dual Diagnosis, Cancer Moms, Heart Heroes, Military Families, Single Parenting, Twins & Multiples, Tube Feeding, Rare or Complex Medical Issues, and more.
You’ll also have the opportunity to join guided conversations on topics like:
✨ The Younger Years
✨ The Older Years
✨ Marriage & Relationships
✨ Mental Health & Wellness
And the connection doesn’t stop there!
You’ll share meals, laugh together during evening activities, float the lazy river, unwind during wellness experiences, learn from inspiring speakers, and discover that some of the best conversations happen in the moments in between.
This weekend isn’t about knowing everyone in the room. It’s about finding the people you genuinely connect with. That’s what we hope every mom experiences during the weekend.
You don’t have to come with a friend. You don’t have to know anyone. You just have to show up.
If you’re feeling nervous about coming because you don’t know anyone, we hope you’ll come anyway.
There is a place for you here. 💙
