We write to you today with both gratitude and excitement as we announce a significant change in Delaware County Down Syndrome Interest Group’s leadership. After many years of dedicated service as our President, Patty White will be stepping down from her role. Patty has been a steadfast leader who has guided our organization through both triumphs and challenges, always putting the needs of our community first. Her unwavering commitment has been instrumental in keeping our organization thriving, and we are deeply grateful for her.
Stepping into Patty’s shoes as our new President is Christa Ventura. Christa has served on our board as co-Vice President this past year, and her impact on our organization has been profound. For the past decade, she has co-run our “Beautiful Beginnings” new member outreach program, demonstrating a deep dedication to welcoming and supporting our community. Christa’s leadership extends beyond outreach; she has also been instrumental in organizing numerous successful events that have enriched our organization for our members.
Christa is committed to building upon Patty’s legacy, ensuring the continued success and growth of DelcoDSIG. Her passion and determination will guide us as we work together to realize our shared vision for the future. We are confident that under Christa’s leadership, we will thrive and serve our community with excellence.
