About Us

Who is Delco DSIG?

The Delaware County Down Syndrome Interest Group (DelcoDSIG) was founded in 1990 by a passionate group of families impacted by Down syndrome. DelcoDSIG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families while fostering opportunities for success and inclusion at every stage of life.

We believe our children’s’ futures are bright. We reject the notion that a diagnosis of Down Syndrome predetermines a person’s value or future. We strive to promote professional and public awareness and encourage inclusion for those with Down Syndrome.
